Securitas Group entered the U.S. market in 1999 with the acquisition of the security company, Pinkteron’s, Inc. By 2001, Securitas Group had successfully acquired seven more U.S. guarding companies, including Burns International. In July 2003, the combined American acquisitions became Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leading security company that works with more than 80 percent of the Fortune 1000 companies and has annual revenues in excess of $2.5 billion.
Securitas Group is a market leader and has been listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange since 1991.
