Shenandoah Medical Center’s Elm Heights Long Term Care Facility is located in beautiful Shenandoah, Iowa, about an hour from Omaha.
Our facility provides private and semi-private rooms for 42 area residents. Fully licensed and accredited, including Medicaid Certification, our residents can be served on a long term, short term, or convalescent basis for rehabilitative therapy prior to returning to their own living arrangements. Short stays are sometimes possible for a temporary occupancy while family or other caregivers are out of town.
Skilled nursing is offered along with a wide range of other services available both on-site and as outpatient services for our residents. We offer independence with supportive care through our state-certified assisted living facility. Elm Heights strives to provide a home-like, friendly, and hopeful atmosphere that promotes the personal dignity of each individual utilizing the services necessary for the emotional, physical, social, and spiritual enrichment of each resident.
